The building itself dates to 1890, when it was moved to Nolensville and set up as a stock company flour mill along Mill Creek. It burned in 1933, was rebuilt, and spent decades grinding feed before owner Darin Scheff converted it into the Amish Country Market it is today. He kept the bones of the old mill and filled it with Amish baked goods, meats, cheeses, noodles, seasonal produce, and enough peanut brittle and salsa to make it a stop people plan around. There's a barn next door selling Mennonite-made furniture, and the whole property still sits where it always has, a short walk from Mill Creek.

That continuity is the point. The Feed Mill isn't competing with anything new in town. It's the constant that the rest of Nolensville's calendar now gets measured against.

The Brewery Built an Actual Weekly Schedule

A few minutes away, in the Johnson Industrial Blvd corridor, Mill Creek Brewing Co. has quietly turned itself from a taproom you'd visit once in a while into a place with a real recurring calendar. There's pizza night every Wednesday. Trivia runs every Thursday at 6:30, free to play. On Saturdays, if you call ahead, you can get a $10 brewery tour through the production facility before settling in with a pint. The food menu centers on the Smashville Burger, which has picked up its own following locally, alongside a rotating beer list that runs from the year-round Lil' Darlin' to seasonal releases like Peachy Darlin' and an Oktoberfest that shows up as the weather turns.

Mountain Mike's Pizza, a nearly 50-year-old California chain known for curly pepperoni and 20-inch pies, opened its very first Tennessee location in Nolensville in June 2026. It's the chain's 12th state, and the Nolensville store is locally owned and operated by Nashville Pizza Partners LLC, an investment group led by Jordan and Jenny Nari alongside Gary and Sandra Mitchell. That group has already signed a multi-unit development agreement to bring the brand to Murfreesboro, Franklin, and Brentwood, three towns with considerably more households than Nolensville has.

In other words, three larger neighbors are still waiting on a restaurant that Nolensville already has. The 2,400-square-foot space comes with nine televisions for sports, an arcade area for kids, and a weekday all-you-can-eat pizza and salad buffet at lunch, which makes it as much a family stop as a takeout order.
